Villaggio Sant’ Antonio is a multicultural facility providing choice in living in either Independent Self-Care Villas, Hostel, and Respite Day Care depending on the individual’s level of needs.

Self-Care Villas
The Independent self-care villas enable people to maintain independence in stylish self-contained independent living units, while enjoying a great community atmosphere. The villa residents have access to their own community lounge room where they meet regularly for afternoon tea, happy hour and other social functions.

The villa residents have their own social committee meeting monthly. They have also set up “look in on a neighbour” checking to make sure all are their fellow residents are ok. Three times a week they have access to the Villaggio bus to take residents to early morning swimming and twice a week they are taken out for local shopping trips.

Respite & Day Care
A great place to come and stay to provide respite for your Carer while you enjoy the services at Villaggio Sant’ Antonio’s respite area where fully trained staff meet your daily needs. The Respite area is supervised by a Coordinator and also has a trained activities officer engaging clients in leisure & lifestyle programs. Respite residents have full access to attend all activities within the Hostel as well as weekly bus outings into the community.

Hostel & Lodge
Villaggio Sant” Antonio is a low-care multicultural home-like facility providing "ageing in place". As the residents' needs change, they are relocated within the facility to the area that best meets those needs. Residents at Villaggio come from many varied ethnic backgrounds. Residents are encouraged to decorate their rooms with their individual taste to give it that homelike feel. Families are able to visit their loved ones 24/7 at the facility and at the same time are also encouraged to take them on regular outings to engage in the local community.

Villaggio employ qualified staff from various ethnic backgrounds to meet the needs of all residents and ensuring they provide ongoing education and support to all staff and families. Staff attend mandatory Fire & Emergency, Infection Control, Manual Handling, Elder Abuse and Work Health & Safety Training annually. All New Employees, Volunteers and Students attend a work place orientation program on commencement of employment. Staff are assessed on their competency in personal care, medications, wound care, administering insulin injections and manual handling annually. This ensures the residents are receiving a high level of care from the skilled qualified staff.

The Activity program is unique in meeting the Leisure & Lifestyle and Spiritual and Cultural needs of all the residents in this multicultural facility.The facility has an extensive monthly activities program which includes regular entertainers and bus outings into the community. In order to reduce the risk of social isolation, the program also provides one-to-one time to residents who choose not to participate in the scheduled activities.
